Is 2000 PSI enough power for fleet washing?
Yes. Cleaning power is PSI times GPM. At 2000 PSI x 4.0 GPM = 8000 cleaning units, this unit matches or beats many 3000 PSI / 2.5 GPM gas portables. Higher GPM rinses faster, which is what oily and greasy surfaces actually need.
Does it heat water on its own, or do I need to feed it hot water?
The HT designation means the inlet is rated to accept pre-heated water - typically from an external water heater, boiler loop or hot-water tap. It does not have a built-in burner. If you need a self-heating unit, look at our gas-fired or burner-equipped pressure washers.
Can I move it from bay to bay?
No - this is a permanent wall-mounted installation. The whole point of the wall-mount design is that the unit stays in place and operators only handle the hose and gun, which saves setup time on every job.
How often does the pump need service?
General triplex pumps are commercial-grade. Plan for a routine valve and seal kit between 1,500 and 2,000 hours of runtime, plus annual oil changes. Following the maintenance schedule keeps the pump out of trouble.
Does the chemical injector pull reliably?
Yes. The downstream venturi injector pulls detergent at low pressure (use the soap-rated black nozzle), so make sure the chemical pickup tube stays in the solution and the strainer is clean.
