This is the Eureka dust cup filter overmold assembly, part 82982-2, better known as the DCF-25 filter. It is the pleated filter set in an overmolded frame and gasket that sits on top of the dirt bin in Eureka's bagless uprights, catching fine dust on the way out of the cyclone. A loaded DCF-25 is one of the most common reasons a bagless Eureka loses suction.
