Use Cases
MK's own description of this blade is short and worth quoting: fast cutting tile blades for smooth, chip-free cutting on tile and other stone materials, excellent on dense floor materials. The reason is the rim. A continuous rim has no gaps in it, so nothing hammers the edge of the tile on the way through - the cut face comes out smooth. A turbo or segmented rim clears waste faster and runs cooler dry, but it is rougher on a finished edge. On a wet saw the water is already doing the cooling and clearing, so the continuous rim is the right trade.

MK rates it not recommended for porcelain and points porcelain work at other models in its tile line. Arbor and fitment
The 14-inch size ships with a 1-inch arbor, which is the large-saw standard. MK notes that stock arbors can be bushed down to smaller sizes and that special arbors are available on request, but that has to be specified when the order is placed - so tell us what your saw takes before you order rather than after. The same MK-215 blade is offered from 4-inch through 14-inch, with the smaller sizes on 5/8-inch arbors, so a shop can standardize on one blade family across several saws.

Wet or dry?
Wet only. MK lists the MK-215 under its continuous rim wet cutting tile blades. The water cools the rim and carries the slurry out of the cut, which is also what lets a continuous rim run without the cooling gaps a turbo rim uses.
Why a continuous rim instead of a turbo rim?
A continuous rim has no gaps, so the cut face comes out smooth rather than chipped. A turbo rim clears waste faster and helps when cutting dry, but it is harder on a finished edge. On a wet saw the water already handles cooling and clearing, so continuous rim is the right choice for visible edges.
