The Sandia 10-0812-E is the genuine Aquatec valve kit for the 100 PSI demand pump on the Sniper extractor line. It is the smallest, cheapest repair that fixes the most common cause of gradual spray-pressure loss, and for many machines it is the only part a wet-end service actually needs.
Owner-operators buy this kit when the machine has slowly gone soft. The pump still runs, there is no puddle under the machine, but the wand fan is weaker than it was and the pump cycles more often to keep up. Inside the pump, the EPDM check valves that hold pressure on each stroke have taken a set or picked up grit, so a share of every stroke slips backward instead of reaching the wand. Replacing the valves restores the seal and the pressure comes back.
Built for
- Sandia Sniper extractors fitted with the 100 PSI Aquatec demand solution pump
- Owner-operators who want the lowest-cost correct repair before replacing a whole pump
- Preventive maintenance on machines in daily commercial or restoration service
- Shops running hard water or heavy prespray, where valve seats collect deposits faster
When to replace it
- Spray pressure has fallen off gradually with no external leak anywhere on the machine
- Pump cycles more often than it used to in order to hold pressure
- Pressure bleeds off quickly once the wand trigger is released
- Pump takes longer than normal to reach cut-out
- Grit, scale or visible wear on the check valves when the pump is opened
Installation and service notes
Check the easy items before opening the pump. A plugged inline strainer, a clogged wand jet, or a loose quick disconnect drawing air will all mimic worn valves, and all three are free to rule out.
Keep the valves oriented exactly as they came out. Check valves are directional, and an inverted valve will stop the pump from building pressure at all, which reads as a defective kit but is an assembly error.
Keeping the inline strainer clean is the single most effective way to make a valve kit last. Most premature valve wear on these pumps traces back to debris that got past a strainer that was never serviced.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the valve housing kit?
The 10-0812-E is the valve set itself. The 10-0812-C is the valve housing assembly, which is the section of the pump body those valves sit in. If the housing is sound and only the valves are worn, the valve kit is the right repair.
How often should the valves be replaced?
There is no fixed interval. Replace them when spray pressure has dropped and the strainer, jets and hoses have all been ruled out. Machines on hard water or heavy prespray reach that point sooner.
Will new valves fix a pump that will not shut off?
No. A pump that runs continuously after the trigger is released is a pressure switch problem. The 10-0812-A switch is the part for that fault.
Is this the genuine Aquatec valve kit?
