Janitorial crews running a vacuum nightly need a machine that survives daily abuse without breaking down — and commercial users report Sanitaire vacuums holding up for over a year of nightly use, with some companies running the same units for 20-plus years. The Sanitaire SC5815D FORCE QuietClean Commercial Upright HEPA Vacuum with Tools pairs that reputation for durability with a washable HEPA filtration system and onboard tools, making it a practical, no-frills workhorse for office buildings, schools, and commercial facilities.
Built For
- Janitorial and facility cleaning crews vacuuming carpet nightly across large commercial spaces
- Office buildings, schools, and healthcare facilities that need HEPA-level filtration for indoor air quality

The SC5815D covers a 15-inch cleaning path with a 40-foot power cord for fewer outlet changes across large rooms. Its washable HEPA filtration captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and the pre-motor filter and cylindrical dust cup filter can be rinsed clean under warm water instead of replaced. Onboard tools — a 10-foot stretch hose, crevice tool, and dusting brush — handle stairs, upholstery, and edges without switching machines. The FORCE model is rated for daytime cleaning at 70.6 dBA and carries CRI Seal of Approval certification for carpet cleaning effectiveness.
