Aztec 070-24-LRS LowRider 24-inch Propane Burnisher with Spray Mist
This is the highest-output spray mist machine in the LowRider line: a 24-inch pad rated at 28,000 sq. ft. per hour, with an onboard system that applies cleaner or concrete restorer directly ahead of the pad. On a large VCT or polished concrete floor, it does in one pass what most programs do in two.
The economics are straightforward. A crew that sprays a maintainer, waits, then burnishes is covering the same floor twice. Combining the steps returns that second pass to the schedule, and because the finish is being cleaned and repaired every time it is burnished, soil and scuffing do not accumulate to the point of forcing an early strip-and-recoat. Facilities running this method typically report longer intervals between restoration cycles, which is where floor care budgets actually go.
Built for
- Large VCT floors in schools, hospitals and institutional buildings on a fixed maintenance schedule.
- Polished concrete maintained with a restorer solution rather than a coated finish.
- Warehouse and big-box floors where the open square footage justifies the wider 24-inch pad.
- Contractors consolidating steps who want one operator and one machine to clean and polish.
What the spray mist system adds
Solution is carried on the machine and delivered through tubing to a nozzle at the deck by an onboard pump, so the operator lays down chemical exactly where the pad is about to work. That control is what produces the chemical savings: there is no overspray onto areas that will not be burnished, and no over-wetting that has to dry before the pass can continue. It is also why the system removes scuffs and minor scratches that a dry burnish would simply polish around.
24-inch spray mist or 21-inch spray mist
Both machines run the identical spray system. The only difference is pad width and the resulting work rating: 28,000 sq. ft. per hour here against 25,000 for the 21-inch. Choose this model when the floor is open enough to use the width. Choose the 21-inch when aisles are narrow or fixtures are dense, because maneuverability will decide the real finish time.

Frequently asked questions
What solution do I run through the spray mist system?
A cleaner/maintainer for spray cleaning VCT, or a concrete restorer solution for polished concrete. Use the dilution the chemical manufacturer specifies and confirm the product is approved for burnisher spray application.
Does spray burnishing replace stripping and recoating?
No, but it is meant to postpone it. Removing ground-in dirt, scuffs and minor scratches during daily and weekly maintenance keeps the finish serviceable longer, which extends the interval between full strip-and-recoat cycles rather than eliminating them.
Can this machine burnish dry when I do not want to apply chemical?
Yes. The spray system is an addition to a standard LowRider burnisher, so it operates as a conventional high-speed burnisher whenever the spray is off.
Why choose spray mist over the dust control option?
They solve different problems. Spray mist cleans and restores the finish while you burnish, which suits VCT and polished concrete maintenance. Dust control captures airborne burnishing dust on floors that are already clean. Pick based on whether your priority is finish condition or dust capture.
How much floor can this realistically finish overnight?
The rating is 28,000 sq. ft. per hour. Build your schedule below that figure to allow for turns, obstacles, propane tank swaps, chemical refills and pad changes.
What warranty comes with it?
The motor carries a 2-year warranty. Contact us with the model and serial number for current full machine warranty terms.
