A polished concrete floor is a consumable finish, not a permanent one. The stain protector on top of it wears, and what determines whether that layer lasts one year or two is the daily cleaning routine. Ameripolish Rejuvenating Cleaner is built for that job: a pH-neutral concentrate for auto-scrubbers that cleans without stripping, and re-applies trace amounts of Ameripolish densifier and SR2 stain protector to the floor while the crew scrubs.
It is not a restorer. It will not bring back gloss the floor has already lost - that takes burnishing or light re-polishing. What it does is keep abrasive soil off the surface and keep reinforcing the protection layer, which is the difference between a reseal every two years and a reseal every year.
Built for
- Daily auto-scrubber cleaning of polished concrete. Retail, schools, warehouses and food service - the routine that keeps the SR2 or 3D SP layer alive.
- Mixed-floor buildings. Rated for polished concrete, terrazzo, VCT, ceramic tile, epoxy, urethane, wood and composite surfaces, plus polyester counters and sinks, so one concentrate covers the building.
- Closing out a polished concrete job. Contractors who hand the customer a written maintenance program at turnover, so the floor stays looking the way it did at handoff.
- Crews that over-pour concentrate. The tilt-to-measure container removes the single most common cause of streaks, haze and re-soiling.
- Facilities with an antimicrobial requirement. Built-in antimicrobial reinforcement is included in the formula.
Getting the dilution right
More concentrate does not clean better. Over-dosing is the leading cause of hazy, streaky, dull-looking polished concrete, because the excess leaves a residue that both hazes the surface and attracts dirt. Follow the tilt-measure marks on the bottle and dose to the label on your container - roughly 1 oz per 8 gallons of tank water, scaling up for larger tanks. Fit the scrubber with a soft or white non-aggressive pad or a soft brush; diamond-impregnated and abrasive pads are for restoration, not routine cleaning. Dump and refill the moment the recovery water goes cloudy, and keep acidic cleaners away from polished concrete entirely.

Frequently asked questions
How much do I put in the auto-scrubber?
Follow the tilt-measure marks on the bottle - roughly 1 oz per 8 gallons of tank water, scaling to about 4 oz for a 30 gallon tank. More concentrate does not clean better; the excess leaves residue that hazes the floor and attracts dirt.
Will this restore shine to a dull floor?
Not on its own. It maintains clarity by removing abrasive soil and reinforcing the stain-resist layer. Gloss that has already been lost has to be brought back by burnishing or light re-polishing.
Can I use it on tile and VCT too?
Yes. Ameripolish lists VCT, ceramic tile, terrazzo, wood, epoxy, urethane and composite surfaces along with polished concrete, so one concentrate can cover a mixed-floor building.
Why do my floors look streaky after scrubbing?
Almost always over-dosed concentrate or dirty recovery water. Dump and refill as soon as the water goes cloudy, and dose to the label rather than by eye. An overly aggressive pad will also haze a polished surface.
Does it actually reduce how often I need to reseal?
It applies trace amounts of densifier and stain protector with every scrub, which is what lets the SR2 or 3D SP reapplication interval stretch toward two years rather than annually. It does not eliminate resealing - the guard is a consumable.
