Low tap pressure is what quietly limits a water-fed pole crew. Long hose runs, a single spigot on a big property, or rinsing an upper floor all starve the purification system, and the result is a pole that trickles instead of rinsing. The Tucker 110V Booster Pump System is the inline electric fix: plug it into any outlet, feed it from the tap, and send boosted pressure and flow into your RO or RO/DI system.
Built for
- Weak or inconsistent tap pressure. Especially long hose runs, one hose bib serving a large property, or upper-floor rinsing where the cart simply cannot make enough water.
- Reaching higher. Working well above 40 feet, where unboosted pressure runs out before the pole does.
- Adding a second operator. Running two poles, a rinse bar or a multi-jet brush off one purification system instead of buying a second system.
- Solar panel and soft-wash crews running pure water through the same kind of pressure-limited supply.
What it changes on the job
The payoff is not simply a bigger number on the gauge. Raising inlet pressure puts the RO membrane closer to the range it was designed to run in, so you get more pure water per hour instead of watching flow crawl. It also multiplies equipment you already own: the same purification system that supported one pole can support two, which means the next crew member you add is producing rather than waiting.
Because it is a plug-in unit with a GFCI cord, it is a site-independent fix. A bad spigot at one property no longer changes how the day goes.
Two things to know before you buy
First, this pump is not self-priming, so it cannot draw water out of a tank on its own. If you feed from a truck or trailer tank you need a transfer or delivery pump ahead of it. Second, water-fed pole hose and quick connects are commonly rated near 100 PSI, so use the onboard regulator and gauge rather than running wide open.
Specifications
- Supply: 110V, GFCI plug
- Output: up to 110 PSI regulated, multiple gallons per minute
- Inlet: female garden hose fitting; Outlet: male garden hose fitting
- Controls: on/off switch, pressure regulator, pressure gauge
- Motor: 1/2 HP, replaceable as service part 12023
- Not self-priming; requires a pressurized or transfer-fed supply
Frequently asked questions
Will this pump draw water out of my tank?
No. It is not self-priming and cannot lift from a tank. Feeding it from a truck or trailer tank requires a transfer or delivery pump ahead of it.
Can I run it off a generator?
Plan on roughly 2,500 to 3,000 watts to cover the startup surge plus continuous running. The system draws about 7 to 9.2 amps on a 15 amp cord.
Will 110 PSI damage my hose, quick connects or RO membrane?
The pump runs inline off a hose bib, not off the building plumbing, so the risk is to your own gear. Water-fed pole hose and quick connects are commonly rated near 100 PSI, so use the onboard regulator and gauge to dial the pressure down to what your hose and membrane are rated for.
Can two cleaners work off one purification system with this?
That is what Tucker builds it for. The added pressure and flow are intended to let you work well above 40 feet or run multiple operators from a single system.
How do I plumb it in?
Source water goes into the female garden hose inlet and the male garden hose outlet feeds the inlet of your pure water system. Keep the inlet hose short and unrestricted, because a long or kinked inlet is the most common cause of a pump that seems not to be pumping.
