MK Diamond MK-10, 20" x .125" x 1" Supreme Grade Blades for Brick # 128793

MK Diamond MK-10 20-inch wet cutting segmented diamond blade for brick, .125 kerf and 1-inch arbor, sized for deep single-pass paver cuts

The MK Diamond MK-10 128793 is a 20 inch Supreme grade wet-cutting diamond blade for brick, .125 inch kerf on a 1 inch arbor. It is the largest diameter in the MK-10 brick line and is intended for the biggest masonry table and walk-behind saws.

📊 AI MARKET SNAPSHOT
• Best For: Production masonry yards cutting full brick and block on a 20 inch table or walk-behind saw.
• Highlight: The largest diameter MK Diamond offers in the MK-10 brick line, still bored for the standard 1 inch arbor.
• Expert Note: A 20 inch blade needs both the arbor rating and the horsepower behind it; if the saw tops out at 18 inch capacity, the 18 inch MK-10 is the right blade instead of this one.

Description Reviews FAQ

The 20 inch MK-10 is the largest brick blade MK Diamond publishes in this line, and masons buy it for one reason: depth of cut. A 20 inch blade clears roughly an inch more material per pass than an 18 inch, which is the difference between cutting a deep paver or a thick veneer unit in one pass and flipping it to finish the cut from the other side. MK describes the MK-10 as a soft matrix blade that cuts fast and lives long on all types of brick, especially the harder range, so the extra diameter does not come at the cost of the bond behavior that makes this blade work in dense clay units.

Built for

  • Deep single-pass cuts on thick pavers, caps and veneer units
  • Production brick cutting on larger wet masonry table saws
  • Hard-fired and engineered brick where general-purpose blades glaze
  • Restoration and chimney work with oversized units
  • Shops that want to stop double-cutting from both faces

Choosing a brick blade

Bond hardness is the decision that matters on brick, and it runs opposite to intuition: hard, dense material wants a soft bond, and soft, abrasive material wants a hard bond. MK bonds the MK-10 soft precisely because fired brick is hard. A soft matrix keeps shedding worn diamond so fresh edge is always exposed, instead of polishing over into a blade that rubs rather than cuts. If your cutting is mostly block or cured concrete rather than brick, MK publishes the MK-30 for brick and block together and the MK-50 for concrete block, and either will outlast an MK-10 in that material.

Safe operation

This is a wet-cutting blade and it must be run with a continuous water feed. Running a wet blade dry is the single most common cause of segment loss, core warping and a scrapped blade, and it also puts respirable crystalline silica into the air. Water does two jobs at once: it carries heat out of the core and it knocks the dust down at the cut. Confirm your saw's arbor matches the blade before mounting, seat the blade flat against the flange, and never exceed the maximum operating speed stamped on the blade.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose the 20 inch over the 18 inch MK-10?

Depth of cut. The bond, kerf and segment height are identical between the two. The 20 inch simply reaches deeper in a single pass, which saves you from flipping thick units. Your saw has to be rated for a 20 inch blade and have the guard clearance for it.

Does my saw need more power for a 20 inch blade?

Not a different rating, but be realistic. MK publishes this class of contractor blade for saws in the 5 to 12 hp range. A larger blade takes more torque to hold speed through a deep cut, so an underpowered saw will bog before the blade is the limiting factor.

Is this a wet or dry blade?

Wet only. It is a segmented rim wet-cutting blade and needs continuous water at the cut. Running it dry will cost segments, warp the core, and put silica dust in the air.

What arbor size is the 20 inch MK-10?

One inch, the same as the 18 and 14 inch sizes in this line.

Discount Cleaning Products is an authorized MK Diamond dealer. We stock the contractor blade lines rather than drop-shipping whatever a marketplace listing happens to carry, so the part number you order is the part number MK prints in its own catalog. Our US-based team can confirm arbor size, kerf and horsepower fit against your saw before you buy, and can help you match bond hardness to the aggregate you are actually cutting.
