MK Diamond MK-415 Blade 8" x .060" x 5/8", 155152

MK Diamond MK-415 8 inch Supreme Grade continuous rim wet tile blade with 5/8 arbor, part 155152

The MK Diamond 155152 is the 8-inch MK-415 Supreme Grade continuous rim tile blade, with a .060-inch rim and a 5/8-inch arbor. It is the smallest and thinnest-kerf size in the MK-415 family, for benchtop and portable wet saws cutting porcelain and hard natural stone.

📊 AI MARKET SNAPSHOT
• Best For: Tile setters working off a portable 8-inch wet saw with a 5/8-inch spindle - the one MK Diamond MK-415 size here that does not need a 1-inch arbor like the 12-inch 155129 and 14-inch 155130.
• Highlight: At .060 inch this is the narrowest rim in the MK-415 range, so it removes the least material per cut - the reason it is the size of choice for thin porcelain and mitre work where kerf loss shows.
• Expert Note: MK calls the MK-415 a super hi-rim blade, meaning more diamond depth is available before the plate is spent; on an 8-inch saw that matters more than on a 14-inch, because the smaller plate has less rim to give away.

Description Reviews FAQ

The MK Diamond MK-415 is a Supreme Grade continuous rim wet-cutting tile blade, carried here in the 8 inch size as part number 155152. MK calls it a super hi-rim blade and specifies a thicker core for high-production jobs that need straight, fast cuts. It is the blade tile setters reach for on porcelain and hard natural stone, where a continuous rim leaves a cleaner edge than a segmented blade.

Thicker core, straighter cut

MK specifies a thicker core on the MK-415 than on a standard tile blade. A stiffer core resists deflection under feed pressure, which is what keeps a long rip cut straight and reduces the chipping that comes from a blade wandering in the kerf. That is the tradeoff behind the .060 in width: slightly more material removed per cut in exchange for a blade that holds its line through a production day.

Arbors

Stock arbors can be bushed down to smaller sizes, and MK offers special arbors on request.

Operating speed

MK Diamond does not publish a per-blade RPM rating for this part. Its general speed guidelines for an 8 inch blade give 4,500 RPM as the recommended operating speed and 7,640 RPM as the never-exceed limit. Run the blade wet and never above the saw manufacturer's stated maximum.

Warranty

MK Diamond warrants its blades against manufacturing defects in normal service for one year from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. For continuous rim blades specifically, MK replaces the blade free of charge if the bond between the rim and the core fails during normal use. Normal wear, misuse, abuse and unauthorized alteration are excluded, and MK does not pay freight.

Fits

MK does not publish a saw compatibility list for the 8 inch MK-415. Confirm that your saw takes an 8 inch blade on a 5/8 in arbor before ordering.

Built for

  • Tile setters and stone fabricators cutting porcelain and vitreous tile on a wet saw that takes a 8 inch blade.
  • Production crews that need straight, fast cuts and want MK's thicker core to hold the line.
