The MK Diamond GC-35 is a Green Cut early entry diamond blade for cutting crack control joints in green concrete, rated by MK for medium aggregate. Early entry sawing puts the joint in while the slab is still curing, within one to two hours of finishing, so shrinkage relieves itself along the sawn line rather than cracking at random. The blade is laser welded and cuts dry. It is bought by flatwork, slab and parking deck contractors running early entry saws.

Fits
MK states that the triangular arbor fits Soff-Cut saws without an arbor adapter, and that the blade arbor fits popular early entry saws that have a triangular or 1-inch arbor. This blade is bushed to accept a 1-inch arbor as well. MK does not publish a list of specific saw models, and none is listed here.
Early entry saws use a skid plate matched to blade diameter. MK lists steel skid plate part 171283 and stainless steel skid plate part 171286, both covering 6-inch through 8-inch blades. Skid plates are sold separately.

Notes on early entry sawing
Early entry cutting is time-sensitive work. Cutting too early tears and ravels the joint edge, and cutting too late means the slab has already relieved itself somewhere you did not choose. The one to two hour window after finishing is the point of the technique, so have the saw, the blade and the matching skid plate staged before the pour rather than after. Because the blade cuts dry, keep the dust collection running and wear respiratory protection rated for silica. Inspect the blade for cracks or missing segments before each shift and replace the skid plate when it no longer sits flat on the slab.
