Description Reviews FAQ

The General Equipment 190C CUT-R-TACH is a clamp-mount rotary asphalt cutter that turns a backhoe, tractor or wheel loader bucket into an asphalt cutting tool. It clamps onto the bucket, and the machine's own downforce drives a 19-inch alloy steel cutting wheel through the pavement. Because it cuts by pressure rather than abrasion, it needs no water, no blades to consume and no separate power source. Pipeline, street and road, water and sewer, and parking lot contractors use it for larger patching, scoring and edging work in asphalt.

Fits

General Equipment specifies the 190C for bucket mount setups using lighter equipment, including most backhoes and tractor or wheel loaders and similar primary mover vehicles. It is expressly not for use with skid loaders.

Rather than a machine model list, General Equipment defines fitment by bucket geometry. The maximum application bucket tooth thickness is 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) and the maximum bucket tooth width is 6.0 inches (152.4 mm). Measure your bucket teeth against those limits before ordering.

General Equipment's rotary asphalt cutter category covers units from 25,000 to 50,000 lbs of downforce, rates the family at up to 6,000 linear feet per hour, and lists mounting to backhoes, tractor and wheel loaders, road graders and dozers. Those figures describe the category; the specifications above are the published figures for the 190C itself.
