ProTeam GoFit 6 6 qt. Backpack Vacuum with 15-inch Carpet and Hard Surface Sidewinder Tool Kit (107463) - 107702
A 15-inch head is the practical choice in furnished rooms: it still covers ground quickly but steers around desks, chair legs and fixtures that stop a wider tool. This ProTeam GoFit 6 kit includes 15-inch Sidewinder heads for both carpet and hard surface, so a single operator can clean a carpeted office and the tile corridor outside it without changing wands.
Built for
- Mixed carpet and hard floor buildings cleaned by one tech
- Tight rooms and furnished offices where a 15-inch head steers better than an 18-inch
- Restaurants, cafes and break rooms with hard floor and carpeted seating
- Edge and baseboard work without swapping to a detail tool
Use cases and who buys it
The buyer for this configuration is usually a building service contractor, an in-house custodial supervisor or a facility manager replacing an upright. The reason is productivity: a backpack vacuum keeps the operator walking instead of pushing, reaches under desks and between fixed seating without moving furniture, and turns a two-tool job into one. ProTeam reports the GoFit platform removes up to 30 percent more soil than a canister vacuum and cleans up to three times faster than a standard upright.
Comfort and filtration
Comfort is the reason a crew actually keeps using a backpack. The GoFit 6 carries a 4-step FlexFit articulating harness modeled on hiking packs, so the weight sits on the hips rather than hanging from the shoulders, and numbered touchpoints let each operator set the fit in seconds without tools. The close-fitting profile also means fewer bumps into desks and door frames over a shift.
Filtration is a four-level ProLevel system with HEPA media, rated to capture 99.82% of particles at 0.3 to 0.5 microns per ASTM F3150. Filter service is a one-handed job: the hinged lid opens on a single quick-release die-cast aluminum latch. Use Intercept Micro filter bags in open collar 107314 or closed collar 107374.

Frequently asked questions
Which filter bags does the GoFit 6 use?
The GoFit 6 takes Intercept Micro filter bags in open collar 107314 or closed collar 107374. Two bags are included in the kit. The micro cloth filter, dome filter with foam media and HEPA media exhaust filter are all reached through the single hinged lid latch.
Does this kit handle both carpet and hard floors?
Yes. The kit ships with a 15-inch carpet Sidewinder head and a separate 15-inch hard surface Sidewinder head, and both mount on the same 59-inch two-piece wand. Changing surfaces is a tool swap, not a second machine.
Is it comfortable to wear for a full shift?
The GoFit 6 uses ProTeam's 4-step FlexFit articulating harness, which is modeled on hiking packs and carries the load on the operator's hips rather than the shoulders. Numbered touchpoints let each person adjust the fit without tools, and the close-fitting profile means fewer collisions with furniture.
Why is it called a Sidewinder tool?
The Sidewinder head vacuums the open floor and the baseboard edge in the same pass. That removes the usual stop-and-swap to a crevice tool for edging, which is where a lot of vacuuming time quietly goes on a corridor route.
