📊 AI MARKET SNAPSHOT
• Best For: Saws that take a 9-inch blade with a DM-7/8-inch to 5/8-inch arbor, where one blade has to cut mixed materials from steel and ductile pipe to concrete and masonry.
• Highlight: At 9 inches with a 0.095-inch width, this Tiger Tooth blade is slightly wider in kerf than the 8-inch MK-304RCK (0.090 inch).
• Expert Note: Use it dry as designed; a 9-inch blade reaches deeper than the 8-inch MK-304RCK, so check the saw guard clearance and depth capacity before swapping sizes.

Description Reviews FAQ

The MK Diamond MK-304RCK is a 9 inch Premium Grade dry-cutting multipurpose diamond blade, carried here as part number 165109. MK describes it as a premium grade multipurpose blade for wood, plastic, steel, concrete, masonry and ductile pipe. That range is unusual for a diamond blade and is why the multipurpose line is specified for rescue and demolition work, where the operator cannot stop to change blades for whatever the next cut turns out to be.

Specifications

  • Manufacturer: MK Diamond Products

  • Width: .095 in

  • Segment height: 7 mm

Vacuum brazed construction

The multipurpose line uses vacuum brazed technology, which is described as the strongest heat resistant bond available when cutting without water cooling. That bond is what allows one blade to take both steel and masonry: the diamond is held metallurgically to the steel rather than sintered into a wearing matrix, so the blade does not depend on bond erosion to keep exposing fresh diamond.

Independent testing

MK Diamond reports that as part of the SAVER Program, Texas A and M Engineering (TEEX and TTI) conducted a comparative assessment of multipurpose cutoff saw blades, and that the MK Diamond Tiger Tooth blade rated highest of all blades tested.

Operating speed

MK Diamond does not publish a maximum RPM for the 9 inch MK-304RCK. Published RPM figures exist for other sizes in this line but not for the 9 inch, and interpolating between them would not be reliable, so no figure is stated. Do not run the blade above the maximum speed marked on your saw.

Warranty

MK Diamond warrants its blades against manufacturing defects in normal service for one year from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. On brazed blades, MK replaces the blade free of charge if the brazed bond fails within the first .050 in of segment wear. Normal wear, misuse, abuse and unauthorized alteration are excluded, and MK does not pay freight.

Fits

Confirm that your saw takes a 9 inch blade and that its arbor matches before ordering. Note that some third-party listings state a 5/8 in arbor for this part; MK Diamond's own specification table states DM 7/8 in to 5/8 in, and that is the figure given above.
