The General Equipment 5T30PAK3 is a three-pack of 5T30 chisel-type dirt teeth for earth augers. The chisel tooth is a specialized digging tooth for ground harder than a standard dirt tooth handles, and General Equipment positions it for unconsolidated soils, caliche, compacted clays, fractured limestone and rubble. Utility, fence, sign and landscape crews running General Equipment hole diggers treat teeth as a wear item, and buying them in packs keeps a machine cutting instead of rubbing.

Fits
General Equipment's auger teeth selection table specifies 5T30PAK3 for all remaining inside socket positions on 8 inch diameter and above, on 4710, 4750, 6710 and 6750 Series augers. On 4400 Series augers, General Equipment lists 35HFCPAK7 as the standard tooth and names 5T30PAK3 as one of the tooth options available for specialized applications, not as the factory-standard replacement. Distributor documentation adds that the tooth installs in inside boring head sockets only, with the rib side facing up, and is not for use alone with 6-inch diameter augers.
Retention differs by series: the 4710 and 4750 series bolt their teeth in place and bolts are not included, while the other listed series use the RUB-R-LOK insert. Confirm the tooth configuration for your auger against General Equipment's selection table before ordering, particularly if you are matching what the machine originally shipped with.
