Eureka Carbon Brush UAU-000000-00K03

This is the motor carbon brush for Eureka and Sanitaire commercial vacuum motors, carried under OEM number UAU-000000-00K03. Carbon brushes are the sacrificial contacts that carry current to the spinning armature, and they wear down every hour the machine runs. When they get short, the symptoms are distinctive: the motor sparks visibly, stutters or flutters under load, gets hard to start, or stops altogether while the rest of the vacuum still works. Replacing the brushes is far cheaper than replacing the motor, and on a commercial upright that runs daily it is expected maintenance rather than a repair. Vacuum service shops and in-house maintenance departments are the usual buyers.
