MK Diamond MK-200 14" Standard Grade Tile Blade, Tile-Stone Blade # 137182

MK Diamond MK-200 14-inch continuous rim wet cutting tile and stone blade, 1-inch arbor, part 137182

The MK Diamond MK-200 137182 is the 14-inch standard grade tile blade, the largest size in the MK-200 line, cutting tile and dense stone with a smooth, chip-free edge on heavy rail and slab saws.

📊 AI MARKET SNAPSHOT
• Best For: Heavy rail and slab saws in fabrication shops and commercial jobs cutting thick stone, oversized porcelain and paver stock.
• Highlight: The deepest-cutting MK-200: 14 inches handles slab and thick paver material that a 12-inch blade bottoms out on.
• Expert Note: A 14-inch blade only performs on a saw with the arbor size, guard clearance and power to hold speed under load; on an undersized saw the 137182 will slow and chip the cut.

Description Reviews FAQ

The MK Diamond MK-200 14-inch tile blade is the largest diameter in MK's standard grade continuous rim tile line, built for the wet saws that cut stone slab pieces, thick pavers and oversized porcelain panels. It delivers the same smooth, chip-free edge as the smaller sizes with the depth of cut a 14-inch machine is bought for, and part number 137182 runs a .080-inch kerf on a 1-inch arbor.

The MK-200 is MK Diamond's standard grade continuous rim wet cutting tile blade, and the continuous rim is the reason it lands on finish work: an unbroken diamond edge leaves no segment gullets to hammer the glaze, so cuts come off the saw smooth enough to set without a second pass on a stone or a grinder. MK rates the series for tile, marble and other stone, and calls it out as an especially strong performer on dense floor materials, which is the category most likely to chip with a cheap blade.

Use Cases

  • Straight and diagonal cuts in ceramic and porcelain floor and wall tile on a wet table saw
  • Marble, travertine and other dimension stone where a chipped edge cannot be hidden by grout
  • Dense pavers and quarry tile that dull a general purpose blade quickly
  • Oversized porcelain panels and slab offcuts that exceed the depth of a 12-inch blade
  • Remodel and punch-list work where one blade has to cover several tile bodies on the same job

Why this size

Fourteen inches is a production size. It belongs on the larger wet tile and stone saws in a fabrication shop or on a commercial tile job, where the blade has to reach through thick material in a single pass and hold a straight line doing it. The 1-inch arbor matches the standard spindle on those machines.

Frequently asked questions

What does the 8 mm rim height mean for blade life?

Rim height is the depth of usable diamond above the steel core. At 8 mm the MK-200 carries a full-height rim for its class, so there is real material to wear through before the blade reaches the core. Once the rim wears down near the core the blade is finished and should be replaced rather than pushed.

Can this blade be used dry?

No. The MK-200 is a wet cutting blade. Running a continuous rim blade dry removes the cooling and flushing that water provides, and heat is the most common cause of premature blade failure, showing up as discoloration of the steel core just under the rim. Keep a steady water supply on both sides of the blade for the whole cut.

Why is my porcelain still chipping?

Chipping on hard porcelain usually traces to feed rate, water volume or an unsupported tile edge rather than the blade itself. Slow the last inch of the cut, keep the tile flat against the table and fence, make sure water is reaching the rim and not just the tray, and cut with the finished face up on a table saw so any breakout lands on the back.

Does MK offer other arbor sizes for this blade?

MK Diamond states that special arbors are available on request, and that stock arbors can be bushed down to smaller sizes if you specify that at the time of order. Contact us before ordering if your saw needs a size other than the stock arbor listed above.
