Tile setters and stone fabricators reach for a continuous rim wet blade when the cut has to come off the saw ready to install. The MK Diamond MK-200 is a Standard Grade continuous rim blade built for exactly that: smooth, chip-free cuts in ceramic and porcelain tile, marble and other dense stone, with water carrying the swarf and the heat away so the rim stays true through the job.
Built for these use cases
- Straight and diagonal cuts in floor and wall tile on a 7-inch wet tile saw
- Finish-visible edges on marble thresholds, sills and stair nosings
- Dense, hard-bodied floor tile where a segmented blade would leave a chipped edge
- Small rip and plunge work on a tabletop saw during punch-list repairs
Why installers choose a continuous rim
A continuous rim has no gullets between segments, so nothing catches the glaze as the tile feeds through. That is the difference between a cut you can set face-out and one you have to hide under a baseboard. The MK-200 runs a .060 inch kerf, which keeps the cut narrow enough to hold a tight miter and takes less load off the saw motor than a thicker blade. The MK-200 is the standard grade rim in this family, the one to buy when the blade will see steady but not punishing use.
Keep water on the rim the whole time. Wet cutting is not optional on this blade, and a starved rim is the single most common reason a tile blade glazes over and stops cutting. Feed steadily rather than forcing the tile, and let the diamond do the work.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this blade dry?
No. The MK-200 is a wet cutting blade only. Running it dry overheats the core and glazes the diamond rim, and it will stop cutting well before the end of its normal life.
Will it cut porcelain without chipping the glaze?
Yes, that is what the continuous rim is for. There are no segment gullets to catch the glazed face, so edges come off clean enough to leave exposed. Keep water flowing and feed the tile steadily rather than pushing it.
Does it fit my tile saw?
It fits saws that take a 7-inch blade on a 5/8 inch arbor. Check your saw plate for the maximum blade diameter before mounting.
Can it cut marble and natural stone as well as tile?
Yes. MK Diamond rates this blade for tile and other stone materials and calls out dense floor materials specifically. For heavy marble slab work, a segmented marble blade such as the MK-62M removes material faster.
What is the difference between standard, premium and supreme grade?
Grade describes the diamond content and bond of the rim. A higher grade generally cuts longer and holds its edge better in hard material; a standard grade is the value choice for lighter duty cycles.
