Every carpet cleaner has the same conversation: the customer points at a dark ring where a plant sat or a coffee cup tipped, you hit it with your normal spotter, and it does not move. Pro's Choice STAIN MAGIC is the escalation product for that moment. It is a two-part oxidizing system that activates the instant you mix parts A and B, which means the peroxide is at full strength every time instead of slowly degrading in a premixed bottle on the truck. It works on organic and tannin stains, it works on old stains as well as fresh ones, and for most stains it does not require a heat transfer step at all. This listing is a professional pack of 6 sets; each set makes one quart of mixed solution.
Built for
- Wood and furniture stain bleed on carpet. The flagship use, and the reason this product is titled the way it is: dark furniture-leg and wood-stain marks that ordinary spotters simply will not lift.
- Coffee, tea and wine callbacks. Tannin stains, including the ones that wicked back a day after the job and generated the phone call.
- Pet accidents, vomit, feces and blood on nylon. Organic residue where the stain and the soil are the same problem.
- Mustard and curry. These are the exceptions that respond better with added heat. Use steam, never an iron directly on the carpet, and never heat on olefin.
Why professionals keep it on the truck
- It works alone. For most stains no heat is required. That removes the single biggest source of tech error and carpet damage on stain-removal work.
- It works on old stains. A stain that has been in the carpet for months is still a candidate, which turns a "sorry, that is permanent" conversation into a billable visit.
- It is economical. A small amount of mixed product removes stains that would never come out with typical spotting technique, so a single set covers a lot of individual spots.
- Activate-on-mix chemistry. Two parts stored separately means full oxidizer strength on every job rather than a half-dead bottle.
How to use it
- Mix 1 part A to 1 part B and apply undiluted. Use the mixed solution within about 5 minutes and discard what is left.
- Never seal mixed solution in a closed container. Peroxide off-gasses and the container can burst.
- Covering the treated spot with clear plastic extends contact time and improves results.
- Dwell can be immediate up to several hours depending on the stain. Follow with hot water extraction.
- Always test an inconspicuous area for colorfastness. Rinse thoroughly before applying any other chemical.

Frequently asked questions
Will STAIN MAGIC remove Kool-Aid or red dye stains?
No. STAIN MAGIC is an oxidizer built for organic and tannin stains. Synthetic red dyes need a reducer instead, such as Pro's Choice Red Relief. Do not mix or layer the two products, and rinse thoroughly before switching from one to the other.
Can I use it on a wool or silk rug?
Not this version. The synthetic formula can discolor and yellow natural fibers if it is allowed to dwell. Pro's Choice makes STAIN MAGIC for Wool, a three-part kit with a color stabilizer applied before the oxidizer, for wool, silk and cotton.
Do I need to iron or steam the spot?
For most stains, no. Mustard and curry are the usual exceptions and may respond to added steam heat. Never place an iron directly on carpet, and never apply heat to olefin, which has a low melting point.
How long do I leave it on the stain?
Some stains lift almost immediately; one to two hours is typical, and difficult stains can be left considerably longer. Covering the area with clear plastic keeps it wet and improves the result.
Can I mix a batch and keep it for the next job?
No. Mix 1 part A to 1 part B, use it within about five minutes, and discard the remainder. Never seal mixed solution in a closed container, because pressure from off-gassing can burst it.
Will it bleach the carpet?
It is a strong oxidizer, so that risk is real on any fiber or dye that is not colorfast. Always test an inconspicuous area first, treat it as an escalation product rather than your first spotter, and rinse thoroughly with hot water extraction afterward.
