Vacuum FAQ's
What is better a Bagged or Bagless Vacuum? This truly depends on the end user and your personal preference. With todays technology and filters, Bagged and Bagless are just as good as one another. Bagged vacuum cleaners tend to be less messy to empty, though many complain that you never know when the bag is full. Bagless vacuums dont have the expense of replacing bags, though the filters do need to be replaced. Bagless vacuums can be messy to empty. Quality of the vacuum is not impacted by bagged or bagless with the technology today. My Vacuum Doesnt Suck Anything Up, do I need a new Vacuum? Before considering purchasing a new vacuum, if youre vacuum isnt picking up anything try these steps first. Check to see that the bag isnt full as a full bag will limit the ability for the vacuum to perform. Check to see if the vacuums belt isnt worn. A worn vacuum belt does not allow for proper motion of a beater bar, which will impact the performance. If the vacuum has attachments make sure the hose is intact with no holes and that it isnt clogged. Lastly if the vacuum is making a load noise the fan may need to be replaced which can make the performance much better. My Vacuum blows out dirt when Im Vacuuming? The vacuum bag may be full and should be checked. If youve recently put a new bag on, make sure that the vacuum bag is installed properly. A bag that isnt put on correctly on a vacuum can cause debris to blow around. Lastly make sure that the belt is put on properly for the vacuum. A vacuum that has the belt put on backwards can cause debris to blow around verse being sucked up. Lastly make sure the bottom plate is on the vacuum. If the plate falls off the bottom of the vacuum, this will also cause dirt to blow around.Which is better a Canister Vacuum or Upright Vacuum? This is a matter of preference. A canister vacuum tends to be lighter and easier to move from one floor to another. An upright vacuum though is always in front of you when operating, whereas a canister vacuum is being pulled from behind. Upright vacuum bags dont need to be changed as often, though canister vacuums usually have the convenience of having all necessary vacuuming tools on the vacuum. |
