The EDCO 65080 water system kit plumbs a garden-hose water supply into a CPM-8 or CPM-10 Crete-Plane walk-behind scarifier so the cutting area can be kept wet. Running wet is the alternative to vacuum dust collection on these machines: water at the drum knocks down the dust that concrete planing generates and keeps it out of the air. Concrete contractors and surface prep crews add this kit when a vacuum is impractical or when the job specification calls for wet cutting.

This kit contains no tank. It connects the machine to an external water source through a 3/4-inch hose thread, so there is no onboard capacity figure. EDCO's own name for the part is Water System Kit; dust control water mist kit is distributor wording for the same item.

The identical illustration, part number and eleven-item list appear in both EDCO's CPM-8 parts manual and its CPM-10 parts manual. The CPM-8 manual covers SKU 79300 (CPM8-9H) and the 79400 and 79500 series CPM8-5B electric variants; the CPM-10 manual covers 69100 (CPM10-13H) and 69200-230 and 69200-460 (CPM10-7.5B).
