FD825 is an 8-inch diameter by 25-foot flexible ventilation duct from the General Equipment FD Series DUC-PAC line, supplied with an integral storage bag and carry strap. It attaches to a portable ventilation blower to push fresh air into a confined space or draw non-hazardous fumes out of one. Crews working manholes, vaults, tanks and crawl spaces carry it as standard kit alongside the blower.

Construction
Seams are glued and heat sealed. A spiral wire helix reinforcement is contained within the duct body so the duct holds its shape under airflow and still collapses for storage. A heavy-duty wearstrip resists scuffing when the duct is dragged. One end carries a built-in attach strap and buckle, the other a nylon ring end cuff. The storage bag with carry strap is included as standard.
Fits
The FD Series is designed for use with General Equipment VelociMax Series ventilation blowers, with the exception of the EP8ACP25P and EP8HL units. General Equipment publishes blower compatibility at the series level rather than per duct size, so confirm this 8-inch duct against your specific blower outlet before ordering.
Airflow note
General Equipment cautions that duct length and the number of 90 degree bends can substantially reduce air flow rates. Check your state and local air turn rate requirements for confined spaces and plan the run accordingly.
