Use cases
- The finishing spray. Mixed at 4 oz per gallon and misted over the area after cleaning, it is the mode working cleaners say actually registers - as opposed to burying deodorizer in a rinse tank where it is diluted to nothing and then extracted back out.
- Severe malodor and vacant units. At the heavy-duty rate, or through a wet fogger, it treats smoke, cooking and body odors across a whole room or unit rather than one carpeted area.
- In-tank additive. At 2 oz per pre-mixed gallon of prespray or extraction detergent, it deodorizes as part of the clean with no extra step.

A word about fragrance
Overpowering scent is the fastest route to a callback - a customer with a headache does not care how clean the carpet is. Tropical Breeze is deliberately light. The point is a room that smells finished when you leave, not a room that announces what you sprayed in it.

Can I run it through a fogger?

Will it take care of pet urine?
HydraMaster does not market OdorMate as a urine remediation product, and it should not be relied on as one. Treat the urine source with a dedicated urine product first, then deodorize.
Is it safe on upholstery?
The label covers synthetic and natural carpet and wet-cleanable upholstery. Pretest an inconspicuous area for colourfastness before treating the whole piece.
How strong is the fragrance and how long does it last?
The fragrance is intentionally light. HydraMaster does not publish a scent duration, so treat any specific claim about how long it lasts with caution.
Should I add it to my prespray or spray it direct?
Both are labelled uses, but be aware that deodorizer added to a prespray is largely rinsed back out during extraction. Many cleaners get better results spraying direct at 4 oz per gallon after the clean.
