Inferno Degreasing Prespray is a high pH cleaner fortified with alkalinity, solvents and surfactants, including a soil attracting hydrotrope.
Both surfactants and alkalinity will emulsify oils and soils into micelles for easier extraction. Surfactants assist the penetration of the cleaning solution to the base of the fiber or into the surface of absorbent hard surfaces.
A lot of soils find themselves at the base of polyester fibers since they do not absorb moisture. The particulate soil away from the fiber surface and base into the cleaning solution. This charged particulate soil includes soot and filtration soil.
There are cleaning situations where the charged particulate soils dominate and the need for the special surfactant makes a significant difference in the cleaning result.
