Will this tool overwet upholstery or leave it too damp?
No. The HyDry Deluxe is engineered to reduce overwetting despite using more water during the cleaning pass. The internal valve and vacuum relief slide pull more moisture back out, which typically leaves upholstery drier than tools that spray without a comparable recovery design.
