How the canvas pocket works
A fabric pocket at each end slips over the wings of a standard breakaway flat-mop frame. There is no hook-and-loop to wear out and nothing to clip, so a soiled pad comes off and a fresh one goes on in seconds - the change-out speed that one-pad-per-room protocols depend on. Canvas is the heavier of the two backings, and it is what lets the pad come back from repeated industrial laundering.
Wet or dry with the same pad
Run it dry and the looped microfiber picks up dust and grit electrostatically instead of pushing it into corners. Charge it with water or a neutral cleaner and the loops hold many times their own weight in liquid, releasing it steadily across the floor rather than all at once in the first few feet.

Care
Launder warm without fabric softener - softener coats the fiber and kills the electrostatic grab that makes microfiber work. Wash microfiber separately from cotton so lint does not load the fibers, and tumble low or air dry. The canvas backing is built for industrial laundering, so the wash cycle is what these pads are designed around rather than something they merely survive.
