The life expectancy of a disc depends on the material being removed. This general purpose concrete disc has a grit rating of 30-40 grit with a medium-hard bond that is used for abrasive applications. It's ideal for fast grinding of rough, uneven slab surfaces, as well as grinding 1/8" to 1/4" and leaving a smooth finish to the surface.
