The 5-head Scabbler removes up to 250 square feet per hour at a depth per pass of 1/4". EDCO scabblers use compressed air to hammer piston mounted tungsten carbide bits into the concrete surface. This air powered scabbler delivers 1,200 hits per minute for fast surface removal, and requires only 160 CFM at 100 PSI. The heavy-duty 1/4" steel frame is built for years of performance, and features wide T-grip handles with 8" wheels that provide superior balance and handling, as well as a 2" vacuum port for dust-free operation. The automatic in-line oiler provides low piston maintenance, and the Whipcheck cable assures a safe air hose hookup. The sets of tungsten carbide bits will last approximately 50 hours.
This scabbler will remove spalled or deteriorated concrete and epoxy, as well as texture parking garage ramps and break up ceramic tile. Roughen surface for new overlayments, create wheel chair access ramps or create slip-resistant surfaces with the CD-5. The user can also repair sidewalk trip hazards, reduce high spots or level uneven joints.
